Anyone need books for Atlantic Technical Center?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

:crying2: I dropped out of the nursing program this month from Atlantic Technical Center (coconut creek, fl) & I have all the new books they issued (used condition but I will white out all the pages in the workbook so you can use them yourself) there are no missing pages/supplies except a backpack all for $175 this includes a 2nd hand watch, Stethoscope, arm pressure cuff, BOOKS: Body structure & function-memmler, Tabers med dictionary, fundamentals of nursing plus work books for both, cds are included & I only used the body structure cd once. Usually if you're not on financial aid all this would cost over $300. If this sounds good to you let me know & we can make arrangements to meet, I'll come to you if needed but please try to have cash. :)

I was actually looking at enrolling there. Can I ask why you dropped out? I'm actually looking for a career change (been in the legal field for 13 years). I am trying to determine if its best to get my LPN there first and the go to BC later after experience to take their LPN RN bridge program for my RN. I live in Coral Springs. I hear Broward College is really tough so I'm scared now, and was looking at Atlantic Tech Center. :)

sorry about that I meant "failed" :( I have a lot going on with life, family issues but I decided to just go to college now, it's not a bad program just do know that a lot of it you read yourself & teach YOURSELF, I'm only not going back there because I simply am one of those people who cannot teach themselves. If you decide to pursue the ATC program :] that's great for you

I think I might pursue my RN at BC. Career change for me tho so I'm terrified. Things will work out for you. I'm a widow with two kids and 38 and am DETERMINED to do this. :)

Yea I actually decided to actually go to college take all my pre-requisites and take it from there :] it's better to have a degree. Plus nothing wrong with Technical schools but I'd feel more accomplished. I wanted to move back to NY where I came from but I kind of think it's risky I only have 10,000 and money goes by fast plus getting a job there is hard but I may be able to get one because I have friends up there. I'm 20 right now but I don't really have any advice from someone real mature & wiser. Any suggestions or advice?
