I just got accept into Napa Valley ADN for Fall 2008. Any one in Napa CC ADN? How is the program? Is it just hard or unreasonably hard? How about drop out rates and NCLEX passing rates? How are the instructors?
Any info is welcome.

First semester at Napa isn't that bad, the teachers are very organized and helpful. After first semester it all goes down hill. Everything is a mess. You'll see how disorganized the whole program is. Teachers are not helpful and surely don't respond to e-mails. The tests are poorly written and sometimes just don't make any sense at all. What the teachers teach and what the book says are all different too. Its so confusing sometimes and help is not available. Basically you have to teach yourself on how to become a nurse. Don't want to scare you off but just want to let you know what to expect. Good Luck!!!

This was the only thread on here that seemed promising to have any sound advise or suggestions about NVC ADN program, so here goes my comment. I have been accepted to the ADN program this fall (August 2012) and I am very excited! I am transitioning from a career change from Information Technology to healthcare and I have worked very hard to get into the program. Since I will be attending this fall, does anyone have any tips to help prepare and what to work on during the summer before the semester starts?
Any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
