Anyone know about Sullivan County Community college RN program?

Just curious...does anyone know if theres a wait list at SCCC? is it hard to get into?

Also, if I happen to have pretty much all the classes already, from A&P to microbio and then all the social sciences, electives etc - all I am missing is the 4 nursing classes (the 8 credit a pop ones)

Is it possible to just take 2 of the 8 credit classes the fall semester, and then 2 of the 8 credits in the sping...ie just 1 year?

I know obv I cant take the nursing 1 and 2 at the same semester, but maybe I can do the other ones?

Specializes in Med/Surg.

You have to take the TEAS exam...I believe you need to get an 80 on the exam. If you already have a degree, however, you do not need to take the TEAS. Talk to the director of the nursing program about getting in to the program.

You can not take any of the nursing classes together in the same semester...and you will not want to haha. You will take NUR 1001 in the fall with a math class. Then the next spring, you will take NUR 1010 with another math class. Also, you have to "test in" to the semesters with skills competency. It's stressful, but it's a great program.
