Hey Kelley,
According to their website (www.thechristcollege.org) (click on the "applicants" tab at the top left of the website), they are accepting applications for the August 2009 class. They only accept students once per year (in August). I got in on my first attempt, but they did say at an information meeting, that they received over 800 applications, and accepted a little less than 150. They have re-vamped their website recently and I think it's a little easier to find information now. If you want to be accepted in August of 2009, you should know the deadline for the applications to be in, is January 15, 2009. I would recommend getting it in earlier than that, just to be sure. There is an optional essay, which I also recommend you do. Every little bit helps. Have you been to college before? If so, you'll need ALL your transcripts. My other advice is to start saving money NOW for school next year. My books for this coming semester alone are over $1,000, and I still need to get shoes, stethoscope, bp cuff, and regular school supplies! Yikes!! Well if you need any other info, just let me know!

yeah, i have to get my transcripts from the previous school i attended but i cant get them until i pay off teh bursar (which sucks). So hopefully i can completely apply by september. you think i should still apply and just let them know my situation? i dont want to end up on the waiting list
I think you'll be fine applying in September or even October. From what I understand there is no waiting list... you either get in or you don't. But I could be wrong. I would call the school and explain the situation and let them know you'll be applying in the fall and possibly coming to an information session. It can never hurt to get your name out there.

As far as I know you can work anywhere you choose. They are fully accredited with the Ohio Board of Nursing. You may want to call someone at Christ or on the OBN and ask them about other states, but anywhere in Ohio is definitely fine. I know many recent graduates from Christ who work other places besides Christ Hospital. Hope that helps!

Hello,
I was just accepted to the Christ Hospital College of Nursing and Health Sciences over the past weekend!! Yay! However, I am looking for any and all information about the program, college itself, professors, students, etc. I haven't decided yet about attending there, I am also on the waiting list with several other schools just in case. I want to make sure I'm attending a good program. Thank you!
