Anyone familiar w/ CPI training/One - Ones ?

I want to start doing One to Ones at my hospital and was told I have to take a CPI training class. It's a good way to get upstairs on the floors. As long as they don't put me with wackos ! Has anyone done the one - ones before in the hospital ? I heard about it today from a friend and he said he gets OT when he does it. Anything that pertains to patient care, nursing etc. my hospital doesn't care about OT. But all the other depts. they crucify if you have OT. I wish I was a CNA I could prob make my med tech rate and then grab some OT to boot. I need to get my BLS I know. But that would be no problem at all. Any info would be appreciated !
