I am also an applicant for class 125, but FNP. I have been a nurse for 7 years. I was a full time LDRP nurse for 5 years. Now PRN in LDRP and a full time public school nurse for grades k-12 for the last 2 years. I dearly love both, but have always seen myself as an FNP. I am stressed waiting to find out if accepted to Frontier as well. I just can't stand the limbo of it. If accepted, I am planning on making school my full time focus. This will require lots of changes and people to notify. Good luck to you!
Hi Farmerswife-
Did you apply to the Bridge Program, or to the Master's program? I have a BA, but not in nursing, so I had to go through the whole portfolio process... I think taking the extra bridge bound classes would have been easier than putting together the portfolio, honestly, but if I get accepted, it will be soooo worth it- Good luck to you as well!
Wow- that was sooner than I expected any of us to hear!!
Congratulations on your fantastic news!!! I wasn't expecting to hear anything for at least another couple of weeks, maybe more- Do you think they are notifying people once all acceptance decisions are made, or just as they figure it out, one at a time? Is your last name at the beginning of the alphabet?
Congratulations to you, Farmer's wife- I sent them an email and I guess they put me in for 127, accidentally, but I don't know yet if that means that I'm in for 127, or if my app still hasn't been reviewed... This info all came via email, so hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to talk to them tomorrow- hopefully I get in, and in for 125- Wish me luck!

Hi!
I just signed onto allnurses, hoping to connect with other applicant's to Frontier's Class 125- I am an RN with 13 years experience. I've worked as a childbirth educator, prenatal coordinator, and have some hospital L&D experience, but most of my birth experience was obtained as a CPM's apprentice. The whole reason I ever went into nursing was to eventually get my CNM. At this point I think I have another month to hear anything... Oh, the stress of waiting... I would love to hear from anyone else out there who is or has been an applicant to FNU-
