I am soon to be a patient at the Cleveland Clinic.
I am overwhelmed by the map, and the 89 city blocks they tell me they
cover. This place must be hugh.
I am very confused as to the manner in which they schedule their patients. I was referred from the largest hospital in our area, and I thought I would be referred, admitted, and the physicians would do their tests, consult with other specialists in the facility, as I have multiple diagnoses, and what a surprise to be told, you need to be transferred to the person who does our reservations. I thought, what reservation........well, now I find I have to have hotel reservations, meals, for a minimum of three days, they can not tell me anything more at this point. Bring all your films, records, scans, reports, summaries, etc, etc, etc,........I must be a country bumpkin, I never heard of such a thing. Thank God I have insurance, but I was not prepared for all this additional expense. Of coorifice my husband and I are older and on a fixed income. We will have to find a way to work all this out, but, it was just a shock.
Is their anyone else out their that felt the shock?
I thought the best place to start was with the Ohio Nurses, maybe this should be posted in the General Forum.
I have such brain fog, I'm surprised I remember where I live!
Thank you, in advance, to anyone that replies.
