Make sure that you are very organized and ahead of the instructors at all times. Bite your tongue and do what is told. Think for yourself and noone else. Very stressful. Some of the instructors are so disrespectful and down right nasty. Just grin and bear it. The program is only 14 months. Also, if you are there to get personalized instruction forget it. Your pretty much on your own. Like studying online. Sorry for the bad news.

I'm graduating May 2008. The in class teacher are nice, but dont be fooled when the chips are down your on your own. Be nice to everyone, dont be rude beause they forget nothing and they will make you pay for it in the end. There is one very mean clinical instructor with blond hair everyone else is ok. You have to study around 3-5 hours a day once you get into your Intro- to Med Surg classes. Study groups are great, also you need your friends to complain to because no one else will understand. When studing focus on Nursing interventions and what is your responsibilities in any procedures. That what they test you on.

i graduated from pbcc program in Nov 06... I thought they were very unorganized. A few instructors left in the middle of the program and caused chaos...overall its not a bad program though....def watch what u say and do...and some clinical instuctors are very rough. Def agree with baseballmom about biting your tongue and just doing what is told.
