did anyone apply for csusb nursing spring 2017?

Nursing Students School Programs

i am applying for nursing spring 2017. My GPA is 4.0, got A in all pres, but my teas is very low 74.7. I got 2 recommendation letters. I have heard that you have higher chance if you' re county of residence which I am not. I am from orange county. I also have bilingual proficiency. Is there any chance that I can be accepted in the program? Teas test is not for me guys. I took it twice still my score didn't improve, and I am not surprised by that. If I don't get accepted, my plan B is west coast private nursing program. I've heard that they have good nursing program too. Anyone have any idea about west coast nursing program?

Did you get accepted?

I applied for Fall 17 and am waiting to here back from them. I have a 3.82 and a low TEAS 73 :(. tests really are for me. anyway im hoping I have a chance.

I changed my mind and did not complete my application. I plan to apply for Cypress ADN program and bridge for BSN. I am Cypress student, and I have a pretty high chance to get in the nursing program there. I think it would be easy for me to stay at Cypress where I am so familiar with. My friend, she got accepted for nursing Spring 2018, her Gpa is 3.9 and her teas is 83 on the 2nd attempt. to be honest, I only took mine 1 time and i don't want to retake it. I took the practice test online and I feel like the score won't get better. Another reason is I don't want to move from where I currently live now. Well, if you really want to go for CSUSB, then retake the test. it is easier to get in for Spring than Fall I guess. 73 is not competitive you know. Good luck anyway :)

I'm kind of confused about you mentioning "Spring 2018". CSUSB doesn't have a Spring program for nursing. They only have fall and winter.

Do you mean winter program? Also, how did your friend get accepted already if that application process is not open until the end of September (in 3 months)?
