Anyone accepted into middlesex county college for fall 2009?

Just wondering if anyone has heard back from Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ. The letters were scheduled to go out April 15th and I still have not gotten mine. Please let me know :coollook:!!

Hi BLS0123, I got accepted too but I'm also not sure if I want to attend.

It sais on the letter that the tuition is $500 per credit. This can't be right! How much yout tuition is going to be?

I'm not too sure how much it will be altogether..but it says $500 a credit and the first Nursing course is 7 credits..so that comes out to 3500 for that class alone!! That is expensive, but I'm going for it because I know it is an excellent Nursing school. I was at Muhlenberg in Plainfeild and found it to be a nightmare. I'm probably going to have to take out a lot of loans...Are you going to the orientation on May 13th?

Yes, I'm going to the orientation on May 13-th.

If I decide to attend MCC I'll have to take loans too. I'm not happy about that at all. I thought that going to a community college will be cheaper but I guess I was wrong. The thing is...I have a BS degree already, so I am considering an accelerated BSN program instead. It will cost me a little more but for the same amount of time and effort I'll be BSN at the end vs. RN.

Honestly, I would def do that. You'll be done so much faster and all that I keep hearing is that they are always looking for nurses with a BSN over an RN. I'm going to go for my BSN right after this. Good Luck =)
