plan on doing a summer internship?
I really wanna do a summer internship but was just wondering how u would have any time at all since most internship programs are FT during the day right? Or do they have evening and night shift options to intern?
Thanks

I would love to find a summer internship. We don't have classes during the summer, so that wouldn't be an issue. I thought (maybe I assumed) that the internship opportunity would give you a chance to work different shifts.
I am interested in others insight.
well if thats the case, then i might be able to do it...i thought it was only day shift:)
anyone else? I ask because in essence, this will be like working 2 fulltime jobs!!!

Scarcity21,
I know you haven't gotten much feedback on this topic but have you contacted the Nurse Recruiters at any of the hospitals you're interested in working for to ask them this question? They would be able to give a straightforward answer or maybe even point you in the right direction.
I'm not sure how far you are from Washington Hospital Center (WHC) in Washington, DC but they have a student nurse extern program. WHC is a fabulous teaching hospital (lge. # of patients w/ high acuity, great training, etc.) and from what I hear, they offer one of the highest salaries in the MD/DC/VA region. I would give Ms. Bush, the recruiter a call. Here is the link: http://www.whcenter.org/hrjwt_template_0.cfm?id=557404
Good Luck!:)
Thanks RNb440, I will have to contact the hospitals directly...thank you so much for the link:)
