Anybody graduated from or currently in CSUDH RN-BSN program?

Does anybody have experience with the CSUDH RN-BSN program? I'm planning on attending Fall 2011. Their website isn't so helpful and I haven't gotten around to talk to any faculty yet. I would just like some input from current/past students.

How long would the program take to finish if I took classes full-time? I'm an RN with a bachelor's degree in another field so I'm wondering if that will help me with upper GE courses so that I can finish the program quicker. How did the clinicals work and how was the coursework overall? Pretty tough? A lot of essays and group work? Recommend any professors? Thanks, any info is appreciated!

Hi there jboogie58,

I'm also probably starting my RN-BSN at CSUDH in the fall. I have found the faculty most helpful - I made an appointment to meet with one of them, and they answered all my questions. This may be a way to go, if you still have unanswered questions.

I'm starting with BSN 302 Concepts over this summer, and also possibly 306 Cultural Diversity. Can anyone out there tell me roughly how many hours/week they put into these classes - would help me to plan. Thanks so much.

I'm starting in the Spring. So how's it going? Figure out everything ok? I'm still a bit confused about which courses to take.
