Any University of Cincinnati FNP students May 2018?

I am starting UC this summer 2018. Anyone starting or already in the program. Any reviews/tips on the program you may want to share?

I am not in the FNP program, but I am in the DNP AG-ACNP program at UC. I can try to answer as much as I can if you have any questions. I am only in my second semester now but I am happy with the program and feel that my professors invest time into their students.

There is a list of available preceptors that is provided to students. You can also choose your own but there is added paperwork involved and, from what I hear, can be overwhelming and not worth the hassle. Are you local? There is a Facebook page called Ohio Nurse Practitioners and students often post that they are looking for preceptors and get a response most of the time. I would start a LEAST six months prior to your clinical rotations.
