Any suggested non-CA nursing schools?

Hello Guys!

I'm in the process of finishing up my Anatomy course this Spring 2010 and concurrently applied to two of the nursing schools; University of SOuthern Nevada and CSU San bernardino, both a BSN program. I'm too hesitant to apply to community colleges after the hype about the wait-lists. I prefer to stay in-state in California, but if i get in out-of the state, i'm willing to make a move. How's the non-California nursing programs like? Do they have a ridiculous wait-lists as well? or is it fairly flexible to get in? Also, my GPA isn't competitive both undergrad or pre-reqs. So i'm anxious as to what to expect..
