Any Studying Tips?

Hello all,

I am in my first semester of the nursing program, and I am having a hard time with figuring out the proper way to study to retain the information. I am wondering if anyone has any tips as to how to study the materials and not forget them after the exam. Thank you!!

Amanda

you can google a lot of tips. What worked for me was to set aside a time of day and not allow any interruptions. I found a few study buddies, but would drop them if the focus was boyfriends, pizza, gripes about instructors --- waste of my time. We would "talk out" the concepts of what we were learning. Find different resources for practice questions. If there is a learning lab at school, use it. Check out a learning styles site that will give tips on which strategies to try. The main thing is to FOCUS
