Nurses Stress 101

Published

Hi. I was just wondering if there were any other pregnant women, like myself, going through a nursing program. I'm sure it happens all the time where women have babies while in school, but I don't see any pregnant women wandering the halls at my school. I'm only three months and still not showing under these baggy scrubs, but I'm sure people will start to notice in a couple more months. I'm currently enrolled in an ADN program which is very accelerated and competitive. Now, being pregnant comes with stress all on its own, but being in such a challenging program while growing a baby inside of you can be intense. I was wondering if any other women (and I guess men expecting babies at home) were in my same boat. Any advice as to stess relief? The headaches are killing me and the work load plus my 2 year-old, and my baby are starting to get to me. I could use some words of encouragement and/or advice to help me get through this program in one piece.

Thanks,

Joy
