I'm currently on the waiting list at various CC for a ADN, including KCC in Battle Creek. Now that I'm getting closer to getting in I'm hearing some negative things about KCC's program and especially where the clinics are held, but this info in mainly for those that are on the waiting list, not actually nursing students or graduates.
Any graduates that can share 1st hand experience?
TIA!

Hi, I just wanted to say that I graduated from KCC and it was the best program ever! I graduated from my LPN cerficiate from Glen Oaks Community College in Centreville and the programs are like night and day! KCC has such a nuturing envirnment. The instructors are not out for blood, they are there to help you. At GOCC, I was on pins and needles and watching my back every second. If you made mistakes they were almost tallied up and you were axed if you screwed up too much. Just before you were to graduate, that way you couldn't get any of your money back!!!! The instructors from KCC will tell you, we don't want you to make mistakes but right now is the time to learn and not to be afraid to ask questions. Stick with it, you'll be happy that you did. I have been out and working for almost 2 years now, and now my instructor comes back to me to precept students. What an honor!!! Keep your head up and keep plunging forward.
