i recently took a contract in upstate new york. the people there were more than pleasant to work with. the facility had an older 8 room OR suite. the area was more than breathtaking, there were plenty of fun activities to do.
my girlfriend had never been to new york, and decided to take time off to come and vist. we both went out sight seeing, and ate at an italian resturaunt.
overall it was a great assignment, everything worked out great. after that, i took a contract in mississippi. my experience in mississippi was pretty much the exact opposite of new york, and isn't it ironic that i am in alabama now?
i will not embellish on my negative experience in the south, as the forum moderator has advised me to blog in a more positive manner.
please share some of your exciting traveling experiences, i think they would be fun to discuss.

My huband I, took a contract at a hospital in anchorage, alaska about 3 years ago. It was beautiful. The hospital where I worked, was a smaller scale hospital. The agency got us an apartment close to the downtown area.
My husband likes jazz, so we went to some jazz clubs when we were there.
I was told by some friends that had vacationed there, that it was best if you go in the summer. It was alot colder than I imagined would be! Us texans, we're not used to it!! lol
