Any FNP's work at Parkland?

I just wondered if anyone is an FNP and works at Parkland? If so, do you like the work environment and pay? I was considering applying there as they have several job openings on their website. Thanks for responding!

Hi Tarshapitt,

I had no idea you worked at Parkland! I know we talked a while back. I applied to the ER a Parkland today. I was just hoping someone who already works there could give some insight on how good a job is there. I noticed that ER position has been posted since December.

I believe that position just got filled by an in house employee. I believe they had been holding it for someone! I called Wednesday an asked about it.

Thanks for the information. I think I will start applying to some of the urgent care places too. The problem with so many jobs is they want experience. It's just like being a new grad RN!

Exactly! I am finding out that it's really hard to get in the ER and urgent care. It's really all that I want to do.
