Any disadvantage/advantage to copper vs. steel Littmann stethoscope?

I am sort of browsing online for a new Littmann Cardiology III, and saw one with a copper finish. I like the look, but I can't help thinking maybe it will tarnish or something? Anyone know if there are any advantages/disadvantages to copper vs stainless steel?

The new Copper and Brass on the Littmann Cardiology III chestpieces are finishes only. The chestpiece is still made from stainless steel, but then has a thin layer of the Copper or Brass finish. It is simply another color/style as opposed to a material change. Tim
