hey there,
I have an interview with Christ Hospital school of nursing and was wondering if anyone can tell me how to get through this process? Do they ask specific questions or is it more of an information session where they tell you what classes ill be taking etc, since i already got the interview? I didn't have to take the entrance exam because of my SAT scores. Do I stand a chance to get in? Also, any current students, how do you like the school? Any pros and cons?
Thanks!:)

I'm a current student and I love the program. It's not easy, your life will be consumed by NS and you'll spend at least 3 hours each day studying, but it is totally worth it. Treat the interview like a job interview- dress professionally, be prepared to discuss why you want to be a nurse, what your goals are, etc. Be prepared - you should know what the classes are that you will be taking, it is on their website and the information they give out at Open House days.
Hey HaikuCatLady,
I tried to send you a private message but I'm not sure if it went through. Your information was really helpful to me for my interview and just wanted to say thanks! I feel that it went well. I am going crazy waiting for a response now. Is the interview a good sign of acceptance? Or have people been denied even after being invited for an interview with the school. I have to wait another 2 weeks..and my thoughts are driving me nuts

Hi Nursinglife
How are you doing. I just wanted to know what kind of questions they asked you for the interview. My friend has an interview this coming week and she's a little terrified. Any other information about the interview is highly appreciated. Thanks so much. I hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks. =)
hey jasel,
So at the interview they asked me the basic questions such as when did you decide this was the right profession for you? What are good and bad qualities about you? Why this school? Those are the top that I remember. I would also come prepared with questions because its important. And i do believe that a lot falls on your appearance that day and how you carry yourself. After I answered 2 questions and the interviewer liked the way i responded they did all the talking about what their program is like. I got accepted. So very important just be confident and everything will be fine.
Goodluck!!
Thanks so much Nursinglife for all the info and your encouragement. I'm actually meeting up with my friend today for practice, hehe =)

Hello there! I'm currently taking my pre-reqs and wanted to know if Christ Hospital SON's entrance exam is taken from the NLN study guide alone or are there other books that I should study from?
