I've been struggling with med surgII for the entire semester and I am currently failing the course. I got a 77% on my first exam a 76% on second and 66% on my 3rd exam which was devestating. Passing is a 75% in our program but if you get up to 74.5 they bump you up to a passing grade. My first 2 exams were worth 10% of my grade and the 3rd one 20% which makes it even worse. I have a 20% exam left and a 22% final 10% worth of quizes that I am getting a B in. Is there any chance I can pass this class? I feel like just giving up and not even bother because for the previous exams I studied a lot. I read the assigned chapters, took notes, reviewd the powerpoints and did practice questions in the med surg book, the study guide and med surg success. What else can I do? Help please!

Do you record the lectures? Anything on our tests the teacher will say in class at least once. That and just spending more time studying is all I can recommend to you because it seems you are doing everything else needed. How is everyone else doing in that class that you know of?

Anytime one does poorly on a quiz or exam, promptly schedule face time with the professor(s) to go over the test, go over notes, etc. Have you met with your professor to go over the exams taken to date especially the last exam you took?
Your professor should also be able to answer your question, and review the math involved, as to whether you can pass the class.
What I do recommend doing for the future is to create a small Excel spreadsheet (or do it on paper) where you keep track of the total points gained out of the total possible points so you could see where you stand in the class after each quiz/exam.
