Any Blinn LVN hopefuls out there?

Yep, I am still out here looking into nursing school(s). I attended the Blinn LVN Information Session and learned all about the TEAS test. I have read up on some info about the TEAS test out here on the Allnurses website and have learned some great stuff.

I was just wondering if any Blinn LVN hopefuls were out here and if so, have you taken the TEAS test yet and how well did you do?

Attended blinn in '09 and I hated their program. I just recently graduated from a different program in Houston

Really? What was so bad about it? I would really appreciate any information about the program.

I was in their program for about 2 month and hated it!!!!! They treat the students like kids!! I'm 32 yrs old and no one will tell me when I can go the restroom. they make you sign out to stand in the hallway just to clean your nose! I went to a totally different program graduated and I take my boards in 2wks and Passed Hesi with a good score..I wouldn't recommend their program to a dog!! Their is a lot I wont say because of the internet and I have to be careful of my words. They only I instructor I like their was ***** and she was just part time..The rest of 'em want somebody to kiss their @ss which I dont do well..If you can go somewhere else do so, They have a 72% pass rates for boards which speaks volume..It was so bad that the dean of education called me and other students to have a meeting when I dropped out to find out what was going on..

WOW. That is not good to hear, because it sounded so appealing to me when I went, just last week. Did you attend Bryan or Brenham? I was planning on applying to Brenham. What school did you graduate from?

Brenham has a better program than Bryan from what I hear, so you should be ok. I attended Bryan..I graduated from a school in Houston- San Jacinto College .
