I am going to be applying to upper division nursing at ASU soon and someone just told me that their sister was "not allowed" to have a job while she was in the nursing program! Is anyone in the ASU nursing program or graduated from it that could answer this for me? I just started an amazing night job with USAA. It works out perfect because I can go to school during the day and go into work around 5 pm. I need to work in order to be able to attend school. He said that nursing students are acctually required to sign some sort of "waiver" agreeing that they will not be employed while in nursing school! This just sounds crazy. It's hard enough getting into nursing school and to find out that I would not be able to have a job while in the program would completely ruin everything!!!!
