is this anxiousness common?

Hi,

I’m a second year nursing student and I’m currently completing my second placement. I’m at a rehab centre and I feel like I’m really behind the other students on the ward with me. not in terms of clinical competency but they’re all extremely extroverted and confident, some are PCAs and CNAs and I don’t have a healthcare background. I can get very anxious at times and struggle with initiating tasks and am very awkward/clumsy but all the other students just jump right in and are really calm and relaxed when doing tasks so it’s really making me doubt myself / make me think I’m behind and need a lot of catching up to do.

I was just wondering if other students have had similar experiences or if any nurses have advice?
