the same thing happened to me in november 2012. at the time i was living in san diego and i also had already taken my teas. they told me it wasnt for sure but that id most likely be going into the semester in spring 2013. from then on i kept calling every monday, and every monday theyd tell me i was the same number, 80. they finally offered me a spot in decemeber and now im almost done with the spring semester. i was happy, but it is a little frustrating having to wait until they give you a response, which may end up being close to the start of the semester. at the same time, i had a friend who went through the same experience as me, except he didnt get the offer. he started the semester after.

my advice is to get everything else out of the way that way if they do offer you a spot, youre not missing anything that they require. this could be your shots, physical, transcripts, cpr or whatever.

I just received a request to take my teas test! I have already taken and passed my teas for another school. Does this mean that I will most likely be starting in the fall?!?! I don't want to get my hopes up but I am excited!

All of the immunizations and whatnot. I know you need a 3 series Hep B shot and there has to be like a month between the first one and the second one. You can't sign up for any classes until 2 out of the 3 are done. Plus the other immunizations like MMR, chickenpox, and TB. I have also already gotten my fingerprints done and requested the background check. I want to pick the good times for my classes so I want to get as much checked off the list as possible. There is a certain list of things that need to be completed before you can enroll. I know the shots for sure need to be done and it takes a while for those to get completed (because you need certain time between some immunizations). It takes like a month to get an appointment with my doctor so I knew that if I didn't get it done early, I wouldn't finish in time.

You need a GPA of 2.5 in the sciences to be able to apply for the RN program. A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0, divide your grade points by th 3 classes and that gives you your GPA.
