Hello, I applied to the RN program at AACC back in August of 2013 and knew that I had already missed my chances for the spring semester. However, I was just curious does anyone know how back logged they are for the Fall semester. I am in the army and am a Combat Medic with the National Guard currently and was told by one of my buddies that there is a 2 year wait for the program. Is this justified at all or is it solely based on your GPA and Teas scores?

I recently applied to this program as well.
AACC does have rolling admissions which mean given minimum scores (2.5 or 3.0 GPA and proficient TEAS) everyone gets in.
I asked the woman I dropped the application off to how far out they had accepted applicants and she said she had no idea.
I would call if you are worried about it, I'm sure they could direct you to someone with this information.

Hello, pocketdoc. I work at AACC and let our health professions department know of your concern. Please contact Tammie Neall directly to figure out the best next step for you. She can be reached at [email protected]. By the way, I have a daughter in the Army National Guard who is training to be a combat medic. It is tough work. Thank you for your service and I wish you luck.
