The Man That Can See and Talk to Angels

Well, one night during my orientation training we did not have but 2 CNA's and 65 or more residents, so I told the nurse that I was supposed to be training with that I would be a CNA, cause I could not see all those people going without the care they needed as far as keeping them clean and dry.. So one of the men, a MI and stroke patient told me that he could see angels... okay lots of times the older folks will say pretty much anything, so I said OK I believe in angels and God etc... Then he said you have an angel right behind you watching over right now! He said you are a very special person. Well I immediately got chills and I was like Wow OK. He went on to say to me: You were in a bad accident with a truck when you were a young girl and God was planning on taking you home that night, but something caught his attention, God saw that I was going to be able to help people and heal them. His words not mine so.... he said God has called you to do the job you're doing and you are, where, you are supposed to be! He said: And don't worry about your daddy he is doing fine and you will see him again one day!

Well, when I was about 7 or 8 years old me and my family were sitting at a red light in Tuscaloosa (where I was born and raised) Roll-Tide! My family and I were hit head on by an 18 wheeler speeding, he was drunk; license suspended for previous dui and it was a low boy flat bed with heavy equipment. I had a concussion and whip lash. That's all. The nursing home resident had no way of knowing any of this nor did he know that I always worried about my father who died when I was 23. I was worried that he might have gone to hell because he always told me he would, my dad was born 1935 and my mom 1959 so he was older and he had actually gotten kick out of the navy for drinking and fighting too much. He boxed and that kept him in for as long as he was in, but that was only because he was small and all the officers made tons of money on him when they would go to port... he never lost anyway he always told me the stories of bar fights and crazy living, and lots of women... He told me he even paralyzed a man in Texas in a bar for mistreating a woman. I promise you he never went a single place that I can remember without at least cursing somebody or worse. So I was always scared he was right, you know. He didn't believe in once saved always saved.

The man at the nursing home also said that I looked like an angel and of course I said thanks. Then, he said your daddy called you little angel. When you were little didn't he? I said I don't remember. 2 days later my niece who happens to be older than me (half-sister's kid) lol! Sends me a pic of her poop.... and is asking medical advice... happens more than you know.... I ask her if she remembered my daddy every calling me by the nickname little angel and she said yeah he did... I said are you sure? Are you for real? She said yeah I remember, because he called you little angel and he said I was his little ****! She said that always made her mad.

When I was at this place that I resigned from among other things, I started to lose my confidence, people were out right mean and I was wondering if I should just hang it up and get a mill job or something... this man that could see and talk to angels gave me the words I needed to hear and the conformation that I was sent here to take care of people. I had a hard time leaving that place, even though every bone in my body was screaming to run fast. I told my mom about it and that the man that could talk to angels said I was were I was supposed to be... my mom said yeah, but he meant here, on earth, as in not in heaven, to help people, save lives etc.. My mom said people in the nursing home don't want to be saved or healed the just want to die peacefully and go to heaven them-selves. She said you are supposed to be somewhere else like the ER or ICU were you started out at. To make a longer story a little shorter, the man that could see and talk to angels told me that he knew I had 2 kids a girl and boy, the girl oldest. Remember now, I have never spoken to, nor do I know this man. Curiously, I questioned him, wanting to know how he knew these things. He said "I give messages and the angels tell me what they want me to say to you."

I ask him what the angel watching over me was like. Was it a relative that had passed on or could he give me a name? He said "Gabriel", I said the Gabriel? He said yes. Makes me think back to what one of my favorite nursing instructor's whispered in my ear when she gave me my pin at graduation... she said "I just know you are going to do amazing things!" I haven't yet..... I don't guess that I have.

So I went to church this Sunday for the 2nd time in years. I am still jobless... but have gotten a lot of travel nurse offers. I really don't want to be too far from home though. I did have an interview for a dialysis place last Wednesday. They could very well hire someone with experience though. I guess we will see what the good Lord has in store for me.

Now my fingers are typed out. You probably think I could be telling a tall tale, as well lol. I know it maybe unbelievable to some people. If you can't believe it then........ Just pretend I wrote you a fictional story!
