I just started my courses last month for MSN in nursing informatics and I think I will be withdrawing tomorrow. I came on here to see if anyone had similar experiences. I felt like there is no actual teaching going on. There are basically only assignments that have assigned readings and then you do research and write a paper. There are no lectures or anything from the professors. All they do is grade papers. If you just want the title of having that MSN, then I suppose its worth it. But, I don't feel I will learn anything in this environment. Im going to look into a state university for an informatics program. Also, I am currently taking N512 which is advanced pathophysiology and N501.

I am starting SIMPATH option for MSN in Education in May. Anyone else doing their MSN at American Sentinel at Post University?
