Hey all

I was wondering for ARC in Sacramento - if you need to retake a pre req are you allowed to do it within the Los Rios system? Sac City will not accept a repeat in Los Rios and I cant find anything on ARC's website saying they dont? Please Help

Your best bet would be to contact the Nursing Department directly. Just ask them if they have the same in-district course repeatability rules that Sac City does. I was told that if you get a Credit/ or an letter grade at or above "C" in a course anywhere in the Los Rios system, you will not generally be allowed to repeat the course unless you either meet a specific criteria or it's specifically noted in the catalog that the course may be repeated. If you need to repeat a course, you'd have better "luck" repeating that course at a non-Los Rios campus. Just make sure that it's on the articulation grid and it'll be accepted as equivalent.
