I am interested to know if nurses in US sit papers to become registered vaccinators, and asthma educators.

I work in a with a general medical physician in Auckland, New Zealand and this is part of my job description along with collecting Laboratory samples for haematological invetigations. I have regular patients who come in each week for INR levels so The GP knows how much warfarin (coumarin) to prescribe. I have been in my place of work for 13 years and have a good working relationship with the two GP and the receptionist.

At present I am doing a paper at University on Electronic mailing of laboratory results.

Our clincal records on patients are computerised and this is wonderful for collecting data, graphs and print out information for patient education.

Hope to hear from some of you who nurse in similar situations - Barbara
