Please help! I am trying to come up with a good NCLEX Study plan...

I took my NCLEX a week ago with only 17 days to study and I failed miserably... I was told just do questions and read the rationales.. But yes that great it made my score jump from 60-74 but I stil didn't felt I was ready I listen didn't changed my date failed.. So now I have a plan but I do feel it might be too much and others felt it was too much so please tell me what to add subtract anything to help ease my way...

My plan is(what I already started out to do) I took my pearson comprhensive pn book and Saunders pn book and combined them. I skimthru both books and write down things I don't know or need to refresh on. After that I take the chapter quiz. If I score 7/10 I move on I make sure I read the rationales for thecorrect and incorrect answers. I try to tackle 3 chapters a day

Next I do 200 questions from NCLEX 3000 study mode review all my questions I only do question based on the contact I'm studying/taking notes on (example If I'm studying funds I do questions on funds)

Next I make sure I review all my notes make flash cards or labs words I I'm not sure of positions sign diagnostic tests and review them as well..

After I unsigned with Saunders and pearson I will dedicate two weeks to only taking Saunders questions were I will be doing atleast 250 questions a day and review any contact I don't know

After that I will also will be studying from delegation & pritorization book since it was highly recommended

After that I will be going thru Kaplan strategies book and exam cram

Also some suggested doing ncsbn site for a 3 week.

I know it seems like it's a lot but help what to do what have you done in the past help me please!!

Yea seems like a lot. Here's what I did.

My first attempt I failed because I hardly studied because I worked 40-50 hours a week. But for my second attempt.(after 3-4 weeks of procrastination) I did the ncsbn 5 week course. It was helpful but had a lot if information. After the 5 week course I had about a month left before my exam. I did many practice questions from many website and the Saunders 4th edition book . Try googling "nclex 3500" they have many questions with rationales in all different topics. I also review some of my weak points and my labs. I'm glad I reviewed those labs too because I had so many of them on my nclex. So basically I stayed true to my study schedule by doing up to 50 questions a day and reviewing my weak points and thank God I passed on my second try with 160 questions.

How many days do you have til you take your nclex again? Because you got lots of books haha and I can barely do 200 a day so make sure you have lot of time to study lot of questions !

That is a lot!! I suggest that u use one book for your main source of info..my first try was a failure i only prep for 6weeks and i was cramming there were too many informations to sink in..how long are u planning to review?! With your study plan i say it would fit in a 3month time frame that if u dont have a job and just dedicate your time reviewing. I am now prepping for my 2nd try..my timeframe is 12-14weeks of reviewing

Our school first gave us Saunders then towards te end of out school year they told us to leave Saunders alone and have us pearson comprhention and rationalesI purchased PDA and Kaplan stragies and exam cram.. Haven't touched them yet.. A lot of people told me to just do questions over and over.. I did that first time around chose the closest day and I also went to a 2 day review by ICAN nursing and I say there with 17 days of studying and anxiety thru the roof and failed... So I thought I need to take this back to the way I used to do it in school chapter by chapter I take Saunders and pearson together Saunders is straight forward pearson is more detailed.. Pearson online site sucks!! So I use the questions in the back of the book.. All I have been doing is skimming thru each chapter starting from basics and so on taking notes and testing myself I do that I the morning and in the evening I try to do atleast 150 questions on Saunders or NCLEX 3000 I been searching for a detailed study plan someone has can't find it.. Help anyone :(

I don't have a date yet ani have to wait 45 days will not it's 30 days since my last date I'm just overwhelmed on what exactly to do!
