If I were you, I'd stick to Home Health Private Duty atleast for the remainder of your LPN-RN bridge. Am not sure if there's any other job that will give you the flexibility, and down time for reading like HH/PDN does. Other jobs will demand you on your feet where you'll hardly get a pee break, at this point in your studies, such energy will have to be dedicated to your studies andschooling as opposed to a job.
Goodluck, wish you all the best in RN school, and the wisdom to realise that you actually have it good in your pediatric home care case!

I'm enrolled in an online LPN to RN program and working part time as an LPN in home health. I want to work full time but I think I'm tired of home health after only a year. The only things that I do that a CNA can't do are tube feedings, po meds, and one patient with a trach and vent. It's pediatric home health so there isn't much to experience. I've had approximately 4 different patients since I started. I'm not even sure I feel confident with a different job because of my lack of experience. But I was thinking about trying a Dr. Office, nursing home, or hospital to get more experience and more interesting work. Would I be able to work a job like that with clinicals on the weekends and homework?
