Recently I got the news that I was selected as an alternate for the BSN program at the University of New Mexico. I was wondering if anyone has an experience as an alternate at UNM or under similar conditions... small state with not many nursing programs and/or around 60 admittees per application period. Any information would help! ?

hey, i also got accepted as an alternate recently. i went to my advisor and she told me that the program doesnt even tell you how many alternates are on the list, or what number you are on the list. however, she said usually a good amount of alternates get in every semester. the actual acceptance to get into the program can be anywhere from now til the first week of classes.
have you handed in your acceptance form to them as an alternate? my advisor at unm also suggested to apply to cnm's dual degree as a backup...good luck :/ im really stressed about it too haha.
