Allegheny Valley/Laroche in PA

Hello all, I have applied to 3 schools, one of them being Allegheny Valley/Laroche in PA. I am looking for current students or graduates to give me some info on the clinical portion. From what I understand clinicals start after only 4mos of didactic. Do you find this difficult to balance didactic and clinical? Do you find it hard to keep up?

I take whatever info you can give!

We started class Sept 4th and Started clinicals October 10th or so. SO we were in the OR after only one month not 4. As far as balances everything you learn to take it one day at a time. We where in clinical 2 days a week and class 3 in the beginning. I just started my 2nd year I continue to take it one day at a time. I am glad I started clinical so quick cause I could put the classroom information with the clinical it made it make so much more sense. I dont think a front-loaded program would have been the right choice for me. I will be willing to answer any questions you have. Just PM me.

Thanks so much for the info. I'll PM you with many questions! Allegheny told me that they should start notifying applicants the beginning of Nov! Got my fingers crossed!
