Hi I recently applied to Alcorn nursing program both the ADN and BSN for 2013. I was wondering have anyone receive a acceptance letter? Or about how long does it takes for you to receive a acceptance or rejection letter from them? Its killing me to not know if I am accepted or not!!!!

Did you get accepted into alcorn's adn or bsn program? Also what was the process after you applied as far as waiting on acceptance/decline letter?
Hello, TaJones91
I actually got accepted to both ADN and BSN PROGRAMS.. I was accepted in to the ADN programs first, then a week before school started I was offered a spot in the BSN program. Of course I went to the BSN PROGRAM, even though I had purchase all of my books for the ADN program lol. The BSN program here is great!
As far as waiting on the ADN acceptance letter--- I applied super early, I submitted my info in by jan 15. I did NOT received an acceptance letter until JUNE-ISH. Yep thats a long time. I called and they told me... that is when they usually send out the letters. As far as the BSN acceptance letter, I got a phone call from the Dean saying that there IS one spot available because someone did not come back to the program. So I instantly accepted my offer over the phone and when I came to orientation I WAS GIVEN MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER.
I advise you to apply to both programs because you never know which program will you be accepted into.!!
Hope this helped you!!
