Albany State University LPN to RN

Hello Nurses,

Is anyone in the Atlanta area going to Albany State University (formerly Darton) going to the bridge program this summer 2018?

Hello idasavealife ,

I was accepted into the bridge program for the summer 2018 intake. Admissions is still giving me the run around about proof of residence etc and orientation is on May 21st , so I was told. I'm nervous that this may affect everything.

Sorry for late reply. Yes, I had been getting run arounds with financial aid. Everything should be worked out now though. Hope everything is worked out on your end now? Are you located in Kennesaw?

Hello , it's okay.

I'm kind of still in a crunch but the admissions director assured me that all will be well. I have to take a math accuplacer test tomorrow... wish me luck ! Lol .

Yes I live in kennesaw, I'm hoping to see you on Tuesday because I plan on being there í ½í¸‰.

Hello kkelley! Yes I started , Thank God. I'm at the cordele campus though, are you going to the main campus in Albany? Well , the other main campus, formerly Darton?

Yes, I'll be going to the main campus! How do you like it? When did you get your scrubs? I can't anything in our papers about uniform!

Oh cool ! Congratulations!

So far so good . If you can't find any information on the scrubs then they'll certainly let you know on the first day of class. I got my scrubs weeks into the program because we only use them for clinicals, for class days we wear white polo shirts and blue scrub bottoms

I'm glad it's going well for you! When do you graduate? I'm so excited, I can't wait to start! Thanks for the scrub advise. So do you get a hotel the night prior and or carpool with anyone? I live 4 hrs away so I'll be staying at a hotel close by. I'm praying I find someone who wants to carpool too!
