Albany State University FNP 2020

Hi, I have recently Applied to Albany State University. I’m really excited about it but I don’t see much information about the program on this forum. Is anyone else applying to the program for fall 2020? I would appreciate any and all feedback thank you so much.

Hey ! so it wasn’t too bad. It says online that you have to get accepted to the graduate school before sending the nursing school application, but I haven’t heard anything back. I’m just going to send the application off anyways. Have you heard anything back ? Also did you apply to any other schools?

I haven’t heard anything either, but hopefully by next week will have an acceptance letter to the graduate school. It took a minute for me to get everything in because I was having problems with a school sending my transcripts to them so I honestly just got everything in this last week. The lady said give it about a week or so.

I didn’t apply to any other schools. How about you?

I applied to Clayton State, Albany State, and Georgia Southwestern. Super nervous about this entire process lol.

How long have you been a nurse and what specialty ? If you don’t mind me asking

I’ve been a nurse for 5.5 years. I’ve work medical surgical, GI briefly, urology and currently working in NICU which I love. How about you?

I got it yesterday. Randomly around 11 am

Just received mine around 2pm. I had already sent my FNP app off before I got the acceptance ☺️. I guess it worked out.
