Hello all,
I have been considering the Air Force nurse transition program (NTP) for about a year now because I do not yet have a year of RN experience.
My recruiter told me about the health professional scholarship program (HPSP) where you get accepted to a BSN to DNP program and get paid by the Air Force to go to school as an O1 2nd Lt, and then commission in as an O3 once school is complete. Has anyone gone through this process or have any more information? I would love to become an NP and also want to serve via the Air Force; this seems like the perfect opportunity.
I already have a few schools lined up who's requirements that I meet, would love to hear some input! :)
