Hi again AN pals. I've been working at my SNF for almost 3 mos and just dropped to prn as I'm beginning school full time next week and need a flexible work schedule. A former classmate told me about an agency opportunity and the agency informed me they have an LTAC client, willing to waive the 6 mos minimum because they desperately need RNs for med surge. I am admittedly a bit nervous since about situations I might encounter that are new for me, but looking forward to not having 25+ patients like skilled nursing I have also spoke with another classmate who also beg a working for them and she said she really liked it. Any advice for me transitioning to LTAC after SNF?
