question for those who know these things.
i know my AFSC is 46N1T.
i also know (i think, so correct me if i wrong) that:
46 designates nursing.
N is a clinical nurse.
1 is an entry level.
but what does the T stand for?
trivial i know, but i am just curious.

You got me with that one. http://usmilitary.about.com/library/milinfo/afoffjobs/bl46nx.htm Here is a list of all the codes for nursing.
I would ask your recruiter about it though. I had the MPF place my ER code in wrong and I was labeled as a J46N3J (should have been just 46N3J) well come to find out when you place the J as a prefix it means you are jump qualified......

I'm at a loss too. OB is a "G". When there is an "M" in front it means you are certified and a "3" means you are experienced (1+ years in that specialty). Mine is M46N3G
i am glad that i could stump everyone ; )
my only guess is that it has something to do with being new but idk for sure. i will have to e-mail my recruiter i suppose and see if he knows.
T stands for transition....i.e. me being new.
: )
he knew. ha.
Mystery solved. Carry on! :)
