How long after becoming a nurse, does the stress begin to subside? Or does it ever?

That depends on what stress you're talking about. I think it takes about a year after becoming a nurse to feel comfortable in your job. You will always have stress as a nurse -- but you will gain some confidence along the way. :-)

Stress is as stress does.
Actually I find my work to be so enjoyable, that stress is really minor if there at all. Also, I know how to deal with what little there is. With a lot of good physical exercise. At least that is the way I do it.
