Advice on standing out as a new graduate!

Published

Hi all! I'm a student nurse graduating with my associates in December. Ill have my NJ license (hopefully) come May but I'm moving down to the Myrtle Beach area in July of 14! I've been reading some different things and its getting me a little nervous about finding a job in a hospital with no experience. I know you need to stick out a little on your résumé so I am now the secretary for our student nursing association and I'm trying to think of other ways to stand out "on paper". My plan was to get into either LTC or home healthcare before I move down so I'll at least have some kind of experience for when I look for a hospital job in NC/SC. I guess I'm asking for advice on what I can do to better my chances of getting into a hospital!! Any advice would be great!! Thanks all! Sandy
