Hello.
I suggest that you buy a TEAs prep book. However, I think the questions are slightly harder than the ones in the prep book. Good luck!
thank you!! Any suggestions on which one I should get?

I just took it yesterday. I bought the ATI teas study guide (I think $109, but if you end up having to retake it, you will probably pay that much anyway with fees and gas, right?) It came with the 2 practice tests (A and B) I HIGHLY suggest this. The test will give you a great idea of how the actual test is. Seriously, the wording of the questions is super tricky on some and you absolutely have to read every detail. You also get 2 practice tests in the back of the book. Quite a bit of the book covered what I saw on my actual test.
Reading - For me, the reading section frazzled me! I was still so nervous i was dropping my things when I started. I was still not "in my zone" and had to reread some. I tried to take my time and make sure I answered right - I ended up with only 8 minutes left and tons of questions. I started flying through it. I ended up with 15 seconds left.... not a great way to ease your fears when you are just getting started :)
Math - very similar to the book, but mine had a few more word problems. (ex, person A paints room in 5 hours, B in 8 hours... how long together?)
Science - It was either so easy, or I had no clue! I knew my weakness was scientific reasoning, but really couldn't figure out where to study and practice this more than the book. I think I missed 3/8 in this part! I also haven't taken chemistry, so there were a few questions that just blew my mind! I learned all the basics people posted and the book covered, but my questions were way too applied to know the answer without the class.
English - I certainly had to brush up on this section, and even though I studied the words commonly misspelled, I still missed one! It was the end of the test and my brain was fried! I just wanted to be done!
Anyway, with the book and practice tests, I set of a goal of making a 90 or higher, and I wanted to nail the math section with a 100%. I accomplished both goals my first try. Best of luck!
