Advice on nursing student resume needed

Hi all,

I am doing my first resume as a nursing student. I have no previous work experience (excluding clinicals) in the healthcare field. I found samples of resumes on the internet that I have used as a guide thus far. My question is this.... I am 38 years old so I have 20 years of work experience but as of right now, my resume shows no work history because the resume is geared towards nursing. My previous work experience is in the financial industry, so I am unsure of how much detail and what information to include for each employer. The one minimum piece of information that I want to convey to a prospective employer (or externship) is that I have a good solid work history, I have not skipped from job to job in a short period of time.

Any thoughts you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
