Advice on Career move

Published

Posting here too just to see how much advice I can get. I can I am a certified patient care technicina and have been working as a certified nursing assistant for a over a year now. I just finished my associates degree in healthcare administration, and all that is left to do is pay my graduation fee and I am hoping to get my degree in the mail soon after since I want be attending graduation since it is in ohio. Are thier anyone on here who else have an associates degree in healthcare administration, works as a phlebotomist, or medical biller and coder? I will be having my second child in January and I really want to give another job a try. I am looking into going in the hospital or giving another job a try. Eventually I want to work all over and get all kinds of exsperience with my certifications and degrees. What do you guys think, how do you like working in these fields.

Working on the administrative side is great, and working at a large hospital system is even better. If you want to work in a hospital try to intern there. Contact volunteer services (as they also handle students/interns/volunteers) and start working in the department of your choice. Its that easy. I'd choose finance personally as it gives the best upward mobility.

Auscultate thanks for your advice. I am definitely going to do that. Wish I would have been thought about that but now is a good time as any. Ill check the finance department out and see what they offer. Im so excited cant wait to see what the administrative side is like.
