Adventist University-Denver?

Published

Has anyone visited or graduated from ADUs nursing program? I cant find any reviews on the Denver location. I spoke with a director and he said because they're a new program (3 years) that not many people know about it.

It looks legitimate but I'm worried I won't be hired afterwards, it is accredited.

Don't. Not fully accredited, been probationary for years without securing full accreditation. Been around for closer to 7 years, with only 4-5 graduating students that I know of. A majority of students drop out, while some end up having to repeat entire semesters, but the program only starts once per year. Main instructor talks down to students, staff, and nurses during clinicals. Staff doesn't have recent clinical experience, and minimal at best. Students are ALWAYS unprepared for every clinical because staff doesn't adequately educate on what they need to know before hand, while nursing students from other schools feel embarrassed for you. Classes are broadcast live between Denver/Florida location, and Florida instructors will routinely fail to tell Denver students about homework assignments/test information until the day before it's due, with the Denver director constantly running damage control. A majority of lab days are spent listening to the main instructor tell unrelated anecdotes about what they've seen over the years, very little instruction. On the bright side, some of the part time clinical instructors are nice.
