Another question: I am going to get my ADN degree because that's the only option I have right now, due to money, economy, etc. It will be faster and cheaper. BUT, I want to get my masters at some point, or even PhD. I In other words, I don't want to be a bedside nurse for long. Can I get a Master in Nursing from an ADN degree online? Can you get it while you are working as an RN?

yes, it can be done. i think that most of the online programs are geared toward the "working professional."
however, if money is a concern, don't forget to cost it out. when i was looking a year ago, most of the rn-msn programs were more than happy to charge you the graduate level tuition even when you are taking the undergrad courses. call me cheap, but i just couldn't wrap my mind around that!
i opted to obtain (only) my bsn online. i will worry about my msn if (i mean when) i get that done!!
good luck, and i hope you find what you are looking for!
