Just wondering if anyone knows of any articles or power points you've found on line that can be used for staff education regarding filling out the Braden Scale?

I really appreciate this question.
People don't understand the value of the Braden score and it is scored very literally sometimes.
It should be scored analytically with an interpretive approach that is customized to the patient.
There is a lot of detail involved in how to interpret those sections. And it is done in multiple ways.
Us nerdy wound care nurses have studied it upside down and backwards. The best way to do it is look at case studies. And look at examples and how they are scored.. that is how I got the most accurate with it.
Good luck and wound care rocks!
Do you work any long-term care facility?
