Accepted NYU Fall 2014 ABSN Students

My name is Mike, I grew up in the suburbs of New York and currently living in NYC, I have a BA in International Relations and am on my way to becoming an NP! First stop, NYU! Totally psyched.

It's going to take a village to get through some of the tougher times, so I wanted to introduce myself and give others the opportunity to do the same! NYU Accelerated is no cake walk.

What does everyone plan to do with their BSN degrees? What degrees do you currently hold? Where is everyone from? ABSN has the added benefit of diversity and I think we should celebrate this!

Congratulations on your acceptance! I too was accepted into the ABSN Fall 2014 entry for NYU. I currently live in San Francisco and am making my way to NY in late August. I was really happy to see that you had started a thread for accepted students, it would be great to start connecting with incoming students as soon as possible.

Are you getting emails about events occurring this summer? Clinical rotation meetings, study habits seminars, etc. I am just curious to see if we are just getting the information that all nursing students at NYU are getting these emails, and therefore they probably don't apply to us yet... Just curious to see if you were receiving them.
